Robert Ritchie

Biography

Robert Ritchie is an experienced lead litigator at Vinson & Elkin’s LLP in the Dallas office. Ritchie’s practice focuses on high-stakes civil class action litigation under the federal securities laws, stockholder activism litigation, and corporate and fiduciary duty disputes in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He has extensive experience preparing and presenting motions to dismiss, managing discovery, and opposing class certification in federal securities class actions. He also regularly defends the firm’s public M&A clients against lawsuits brought to challenge proposed transactions. Ritchie earned his BS and BBA from Texas Christian University and his JD from Harvard Law School.
