Sonia Pfaffenroth

Biography

Sonia Pfaffenroth is a partner at Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC. In her role, she assists  clients with international antitrust disputes. Previously, Pfaffenroth served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil and Criminal Operation in the Antitrust Division and the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Civil Enforcement at the U.S. Department of Justice, supervising civil and criminal law enforcement efforts globally. Prior to her government work, she was a partner at Arnold & Porter where she conducted transactional and litigation work, including mergers and acquisitions and antitrust counseling.

Pfaffenroth received her BA from Carleton College and JD from Stanford Law School.
