Shil B. Patel

Biography

Shil Patel is the Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Thom Tillis. As a Chartered Financial Analyst with significant experience in regulatory and government settings, Patel brings both policy and Senate expertise to his position. He has served the U.S. Senate since 2017, with previous roles including Legislative Director, and Economic Policy Advisor for Senator Tillis. Prior to the U.S. Senate, he was a Supervisory Analyst at the Federal Reserve Board. He was also an associate at Northern Trust Asset Management.

Patel received his BS from Northwestern University and his MBA from the Wharton School.
