Peter Schneider

Biography

Peter Schneider is the President of Primerica and is responsible for the Company’s strategy, government relations, corporate governance, legal and compliance functions, public communications, reputation, and executive talent development. He is a business partner to the Company’s CEO, and with the Corporate Secretary, handles Board of Directors support. Peter also represents the Company with public officials and interacts with members of Primerica’s Field Force, before whom he is a frequent speaker. Peter has also served as Primerica’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer, and Corporate Secretary. Prior to working for Primerica, Peter worked at Rogers & Hardin in Atlanta, GA as a partner from 1988 to 2000. He began his legal career at Paul Weiss in New York City. Peter currently serves on the boards of directors of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), Northwest North Carolina YMCA, and is on the National Commission of the Anti-Defamation League. He also serves on the UNC Board of Visitors. Peter has a BS from UNC and a JD from UNC School of Law.
