Biography

Mani Sulur is a retired Bank Chief Risk Officer, Enterprise Chief Compliance Officer, and Shared Service Chief Risk Officer, formerly at USAA. He oversaw enterprise risk and compliance governance across USAA’s banking and insurance operations and serves as a principal advisor to the board’s risk and regulatory committees. Sulur has led the modernization of governance frameworks, enhanced board-level risk reporting and regulatory engagement, and guided the resolution of significant compliance and regulatory matters. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Control Executive for Consumer Lending, Payments, and Digital Banking at Wells Fargo. Prior, he held leadership roles at  Citi and Bank of America, and worked with IBM/PricewaterhouseCoopers and Digitek Business Systems.

Sulur received his MS in Information Management from Southern New Hampshire University and his BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
