Biography
Jonah Crane is a Partner at Klaros Group, an advisory and investment firm focused on the future of financial Services. Crane’s clients include community and regional banks, fintech and embedded finance providers, and digital asset-related businesses. In his role, he develops business strategies, partnerships, and governance frameworks that will achieve their strategic goals and meet evolving regulatory expectations.
Crane is a member of the CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee as well as the Advisory Board of the Digital Dollar Project. He served as a Senior Advisor and Deputy Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Treasury Department from 2013-2017. Prior to that, Crane was an advisor to U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer on financial regulatory policy, including the Dodd-Frank Act and the JOBS Act. He was previously a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Milbank LLP in New York City. Crane received a BA from New York University and a JD from NYU School of Law.
