Jamie Hinkle is a partner in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation group with Smith Anderson in Raleigh, NC and also serves as the firm’s Risk Management Partner. He concentrates his practice on advising employers on the design and administration of stock and other equity and incentive compensation programs, deferred compensation arrangements, and ERISA employee benefit plans. A significant part of his practice involves assisting clients with executive compensation and employment arrangements and employee benefits transition issues in mergers, acquisitions and other business transactions. As the firm’s Risk Management Partner, he counsels the firm and its lawyers on conflicts of interests, ethics and professional responsibility, and related risk management issues. Jamie has a BA from Duke University and a JD from UNC School of Law.
