Biography

Elaine Edson is Director of Quantitative Risk Management, AI Risk Management at USAA. She leads the AI Risk Management team and oversees the company’s AI Risk Management Framework, AI risk assessments, risk reporting, governance activities, training, and monitoring of emerging AI risks. Edson also provides AI-related updates to senior management, board committees, and other stakeholders and supports the development of risk metrics and indicators associated with artificial intelligence. Prior to her current role, she served in a variety of leadership positions at USAA.

Edson received her BA in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word.
