Biography

Debra Ingraham Cho is Compliance Executive and Head of Central Compliance at First Citizens Bank. She leads compliance issues management, risk assessment, regulatory change initiatives, and compliance testing teams, and works with regulators, internal audit, executive management, and the board of directors on compliance risk management and regulatory matters. Cho has more than 20 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, and risk leadership roles across major financial institutions. Prior to her current role, she served as Interim Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President at First Citizens Bank. Earlier in her career, she held several managing director positions at Wells Fargo; served in compliance leadership roles at UBS; and was a Senior Vice President and Senior Compliance Manager at Bank of America.

Cho received her JD from Washington and Lee University School of Law and her BA in Communication and Legal Studies from SUNY Geneseo.
