Biography

Will Ellis serves as Senior Director, Ethics, Privacy, & Governance at First Citizens Bank, where he leads key enterprise compliance and governance functions that promote ethical business practices, protect customer and employee data, and strengthen organizational accountability. He is responsible for the company’s Conduct Program, including the Code of Ethics, Employee Hotline, and Control Room, as well as Privacy Compliance, Reputation Risk Management, and the broader Compliance Governance function. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across the financial services and insurance industries, Ellis brings a diverse background spanning international business management, risk oversight, regulatory compliance, and customer remediation. Prior to joining FCB, he held leadership positions at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Ally Financial.
