Biography

Bill Fox recently retired as managing director and global head of Financial Crimes Risk at Bank of America, where he oversaw the bank’s anti-financial crime, fraud, and economic sanctions compliance and risk programs. Fox serves on the ACAMS Management Board and the Creighton University Board of Trustees, where he chairs the Risk Management, Audit and Compliance Subcommittee and serves on the Finance and Infrastructure Committee. Before joining Bank of America, Fox held several positions with the US Department of the Treasury, including director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, associate deputy general counsel, senior counsel to the general counsel, and legal and leadership roles in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms’ Chief Counsel’s Office.

Fox received his JD from Creighton University School of Law and his BA in History from Creighton University.
