Peter Nemerovski

Biography

Peter Nemerovski joined the UNC School of Law faculty in 2017. He teaches Research, Reasoning, Writing, and Advocacy I and II. He has also taught Writing for Practice and Writing for the Bar. Peter has published articles in the Arizona Law Review Syllabus, the Nebraska Law Review, Perspectives: Teaching Legal Research and Writing, the Journal of Legislation, and The National Jurist. His conference presentations have focused on the feedback and revision process, teaching professionalism, and law faculty hiring. Prior to coming to UNC, he clerked for Judge Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles and Holland & Knight in Miami. He then taught at the University of Miami School of Law for seven years. Peter received his A.B. from Princeton University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan.
